Mardi Himal Trek

Situated just east of one of the most popular treks of Nepal, the Annapurna Base Camp trek, the Mardi Himal trek is a hidden gem. As it is hardly know, few trekkers make their way to the Mardi Himal Basce Camp, spectacularly situated at the base of Mardi Himal and the impressive Machapuchhre.

The trail goes along small paths through magical rhododendron forests, until you climb out of the forest around 3,300 m. The landscape changes quite abruptly into a rough high mountain landscape, with amazing views of Mardi Himal, Machapuchre, Annapurna South and Hiunchuli.

From High Camp (3580 m; some maps incorrectly mention 3900 m), you can climb in about 3-4 hours to Mardi Himal Basecamp, which offers spectacular close up views of the entire Annapurna Range.

There are simple guesthouses and homestays along the entire route.

Day to day Itinerary

Day 01: Arrival in kathmandu Airport (1350m.), pick up then transfer to the Hotel .

Day 02: Drive or fly to Pokhara then transfer to Hotel.

Day 03: Drive to Hemja then trek to Pothana (1900m.),5-6 hrs.

Day 04: Trek to Low camp (3100m.), 5-6 hrs.

Day 05: Trek to High camp (3900m.), 4 hrs.

Day 06: Explore the view point (4500m.) overnight in High camp.

Day 07: Trek to Siding (1760m.), 5-6 hrs.

Day 08: Trek to Saidighatta (1100m.) 3-4 hrs. and drive back to Pokhara.

Day 09: Drive or flight to Kathmandu then transfer to Hotel.

Day 10: Fly out own destination or extra activities.

Package Cost
