Everest Base Camp and Island Peak Expedition: (18 days)

This trekking plus peak climbing package fulfills the dream of every amateur and serious climber, who has been seeking the thrill of adventure and wish to widen their experience towards the peak climbing expedition beyond simply trekking in Nepal. Island Peak in Nepali Imja Tse is the extension of Lhotse Sar and is located between Lhotse and Imja Glaciers, standing at 6981 Meter (20305ft). The EBC and Island peak climbing itinerary takes you to the Everest Base camp and KalaPatthar first for the close up views of Everest before scaling the peak. This is the most popular trekking peak in Nepal. Imja Tse provides an enjoyable climb and view of the most spectacular scenery of Himalayas in the Khumbu region which includes Nuptse (7,879m), Lhotse (8,501m), Lhotse Middle Peak (8,410m) and Lhotse Shar (8,383m) make a semi circle in the north. The views of Makalu (8475m) in the east, Baruntse and Amadablam in the south add more charm in climbing Island Peak. From the base camp, a well-acclimatized party in good conditions can make the summit and return to the base camp in a day. However, most of the climbers prefer alpine style camping at high camp, which adds the joy of climbing and helps a safe ascent.

Day1: Arrive in Kathmandu and transfer to hotel
Day2: Kathmandu valley cultural tour and preparation for the trek
Day3: Fly to lukla and trek to Phakding
Day4: Trek to Namche
Day5: Namche to Tengboche
Day6: Tengboche to Lobuche
Day7: Trek to Gorakshep (5288m) and Hike to Kalapatthar (5545m) and return back to Goarkshep.
Day8: Trek to Everest Base Camp (5360m) and trek back to Lobuche
Day9: Lobuche to Island Peak base camp (5087m)
Day10: This day is for climbing instruction and rest
Day11: Climb Island peak High Camp (5465m)
Day12: Summit the Island peak (6189m) and trek back to Chukung (4730m)
Day13: Chukung to Dingboche
Day14: Dingboche to Namche
Day15: Namche to Lukla
Day16: Fly to Kathmandu
Day 17: Rest day at Kathmandu
Day18: Transfer from hotel to airport for International Departure.
