Tibet packages
are challanging because of arid tibetan pleateu and travelling in high
altitude. Mount Kailash is a peak in the Gangdisê mountains, the
source of some of the longest rivers in Asia—the Indus River,
the Sutlej River, a tributary of the Ganges River, and the Brahmaputra
River—and is considered as a sacred place in four religions—Hinduism,
Buddhism, Jainism and Bön faith. The mountain lies near Lake Manasarowar
and Lake Rakshastal in Tibet.
Around the capital of Tibet we
can see architectural masterpieces like the Buddhist monasteries of
Drepung, once the largest in the country The Jhokhang - a spiritual
center, and the awesome palaces of the Dalai Lama - Norbulinga (the
summer palace) and the Potala palace.
